Privacy Policy

One Dad Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our") publishes Backseat Quest: Road Trip Games (the "Game"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android Game or contact us for support.

1. Offline gameplay and local information

Gameplay progress, selections, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server to collect your locally stored gameplay progress. You do not need to create an account with One Dad Studio LLC to play.

Your device's backup settings may allow Google or your device provider to back up and restore application data. Such backups are controlled by the relevant provider and your device settings, rather than by us.

2. Full-game purchase

You can purchase an unlock for the full game through Google Play Billing. An internet connection may be needed to purchase, verify, or restore the unlock even though gameplay is offline.

Google processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number or bank-account details. The Game uses purchase information supplied by Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase status, and purchase token, to recognize the unlock. Google Play also makes transaction information available to us for purchase administration, refunds, fraud prevention, and support.

3. Support communications

If you contact support@onedadstudio.com, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as your name, message, screenshots, or purchase reference. Please do not send payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

We use support information to answer questions, resolve problems, and manage purchase-related requests. Our email service provider processes these communications to deliver and store email.

4. Advertising and sharing

The Game does not display advertisements or use an advertising network. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Information may be processed by service providers as described above. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect our users, or enforce our legal rights.

5. Retention and deletion

Local gameplay information remains on your device until you remove it. You can generally delete it by clearing the Game's app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the Game. Copies in device backups may remain until deleted under the backup provider's settings and retention practices.

Clearing local data does not cancel a completed purchase or delete Google's transaction records. Google retains its records under its own policies.

We retain support communications and any purchase-administration records only as long as reasonably needed to provide support, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your request and retain records where legally required.

6. Children and family use

Offline gameplay does not require players to submit personal information to us. Parents or guardians should supervise purchases and support communications made by children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be deleted, contact us at the email address below.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You can help protect local game data by securing your device and Google account.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Game or our information practices. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
